SMS Opt-In Process

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This page documents how end users consent to receive SMS text messages from DeliverIT. It is provided for transparency and for carrier compliance review.

What the messaging program is

DeliverIT (deliverit.io) lets account holders create personal AI assistants ("agents"). An account holder can optionally give their agent a dedicated phone number and then authorize specific phone numbers — typically their own — to text with that agent. Messages consist of (1) a one-time verification code sent during opt-in and (2) two-way conversational replies from the agent the user configured. DeliverIT sends no marketing or promotional text messages, and agents only ever message numbers that completed the opt-in flow below.

How a user opts in

  1. The user signs in to their DeliverIT account at deliverit.io and opens their agent's page (Agents → their agent). This area requires authentication, so the opt-in form is reproduced exactly below for review.
  2. In the "Text messaging" card, the user types the phone number they want to authorize and must actively check an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox containing the program disclosures (shown below) before the Add button becomes enabled.
  3. DeliverIT sends a one-time 6-digit verification code by SMS to that number. The message reads: "DeliverIT: 123456 is your code to authorize this number to text this agent. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg&data rates may apply."
  4. The user enters the code on the agent page to prove they control the number. Only after this double opt-in will the agent exchange messages with that number.
